About Us

I Love Languages was founded by Clara Hebblethwaite in 2009.

Clara is a professional and passionate linguist, who holds a BA in Modern Languages from Bristol University. 
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            She is fluent in French and Spanish having attended bilingual schools in France and Belgium and later as an adult working in Mexico and Peru.

Clara now lives in South East London with her husband Ben, baby Stanley and dog Zuko.

Teaching Experience: Clara is a qualified Modern Languages teacher (PGCE, Goldsmiths University) with two years experience in London secondary classrooms and three years experience tutoring and teaching TEFL abroad. She is also an AS & A2 examiner for Edexcel and has enhanced CRB disclosure.

Tutoring Approach: Clara aims to fit in with the needs of her pupils, and tailors her resources and focus accordingly.

Translation  Experience: Amongst other projects, Clara has recently worked for Decca Records as their translator during interviews with French nuns who have made a hit record with their wonderful Gregorian Chant.
